Nuyorico was a one-day cultural experience co-created by Victor Roman and Christian Martír, spotlighting Puerto Rican heritage through the lens of New York’s vibrant creative scene. Held at Café Colmado in the Lower East Side and officially powered by NIKE NYC, the event served as both a celebration and a gathering place for the city’s Boricua community and its allies. Designed to honor legacy while amplifying new voices, Nuyorico blended art, music, and street culture into a seamless, soulful affair.

Guests who joined were treated to a dynamic lineup of DJs, exclusive T-shirt giveaways, and the chance to dig through curated selections of vinyl, vintage apparel, and cultural memorabilia. The space came alive with installations by celebrated artists Jason Pulgarín and Maridelis, who transformed the venue into a visual love letter to Puerto Rican identity.
